The Interactive Metronome process will be done in this manner:
- Your child will work directly: one-to-one with a certified trainer.
- A customized program will be designed for the trainee.
- An auditory beat is monitored by both trainee and trainer.
- The trainee will use simple physical movements: hand claps, toe tapping, brushing leg to respond to the sounds.
- The IM program will measure the precision of these response and incrementally, challenge the trainee over the 3 weeks of training.
- Age appropriate interactions with the IM program are used.
With the gains in processing speeds, the participant will gain permanent fluency in the rate of transmission of information along the neural system. The rewards will be the ability to approach and comprehend books, articles, coursework, web sites and other written material [including testing materials] with ease and confidence.
