BrainŸTrain Cleveland Uses Rhythm…to Bring On Success

in Athletics and in Academics

Movement specialist and educator, Diane Massad, provides the cutting-edge brain training that professional athletes are using to gain mental precision in timing and the transmission of messages along the neural pathways.

Professional Athletes and Intercollegiate Teams Use IM Training

The Miami Dolphins finds Interactive Metronome training a keen part of their off-season workouts. Notre Dame University fine tunes their athletes with the rhythmic training of IM League leading interscholastic teams find skills achievements with the inclusion of IM training. And as a bonus their academic achievements shine. Performance on the national Standardized Tests: ACT and SAT are documented over the past 15 years.

The varsity football program at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida trained their entire team to improve their millisecond timing and their ability to focus increased 45%. Their scores on the National Standardized Tests: ACT/SAT improved also.

In her Westlake clinic at BrainŸTrain Cleveland. Diane uses the Interactive Metronome® protocol as an assessment tool and as a training tool that is able to both measure a person’s timing status and modify the rate of transmission of information between the muscles and the mind.

The IM program is offered in the United States and globally as a method to improve cognitive, communicative, behavioral and motor challenges. Additionally, the IM training gives the trainee a competitive advantage in motor activities as well as in performance arts: music, dance.

Students have found success in training with the Interactive Metronome® program as they are able to measurably refine their timing. Golf Digest magazine, referred to brain training with IM-Powered technology as the hottest piece of work-out equipment on the PGA Tour.

Scott Riehl, head strength and conditioning specialist for the PGA tour, reported that players Vijay Singh and Glen Day trained on the IM and produced IM scores of less than 15ms. Such ratings are strong indicators of a person’s timing mastery.

These timing improvements also produce fluency in reading and math. Message transmission is measurably improved during each of the 12 one-hour sessions that constitute the IM training. The achievements in timing refinement are permanent. The 12 sessions are conducted over a 3-week span.
